I was reading through the book Heaven is Real some time ago. It's about a little boy who died and went to heaven but then came back to earth. After putting the book down, I began to walk through an area where there were many retail shops, and I began to see people in an entirely different light. I was wondering if the people I was passing by had anyone to pray for them.

Perhaps it only takes a small whisper of a pray to an all-powerful God to open their eyes and to bring them into the reality of who He is. I don't think we realize how powerful our prayers can be. The enemy can make us think that we are not measuring up or accomplishing anything on the face of the earth, yet when we walk this earth, we are Sons and Daughters of Righteousness. We bring light into darkness just by our presence. We are a living testimony of who the King of Glory is and what His righteousness looks like.

So many times, I pass by people without a thought of who they are or where they will live the rest of their lives. The time is short before the Lord's return, and He wants to sweep as many people into His kingdom as possible. We may never talk to these people, but perhaps a brief prayer will bring someone else into their path to reveal the truth to them. Every day the harvest is around us. Are we the laborer who will speak? Or are we the laborer who prays? Whichever one we are at that moment, it is always an honor to be in the Lord's service.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I am so thankful that You died for all mankind on the cross so they can be free to experience eternal life with You. I am honored to be an ambassador for You. Please help me to reach out to others to share the good news of the gospel and to remember to pray according to Your word in every situation and circumstance. I ask that You continue to awaken me to Your heart's desires and to provide creative ways to bless others on a continuous basis with love and truth. May they be healed, restored and brought to You as I am faithful to reflect on You through my everyday life.

1. Find 3 people to pray for as you're out and about.                     
2. Find 3 people to speak a word of encouragement and share the Gospel message with.
3. Write down and put into practice 3 creative ways to reach out to others on a continuous basis.
