I welcome Spring at this time of the year. We live in the mountains, and the beauty of the trees and flowers are breath-taking. Spring reminds me of new beginnings, and I find myself asking the Lord what new beginnings is He bringing forth in this season of my life?

We were worshipping with others in a prayer room yesterday when I heard the Holy Spirit say to my heart, "It’s a new day."

Wow, that brought me great hope! The scripture in Isaiah 43:19 (KJV) says: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

This is a great promise of newness that produces change, spiritual rejuvenation and transformation. God can provide a way where there seems to be no way. He can provide new pathways to abundance, refreshment and growth. I don’t know about you, but I want to say, "Amen, Lord Jesus; bring it on!

I believe He is always doing new things. That is one of the joyful attributes about Him! How about this encouraging scripture that coincides with the process: He is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20–21 KJV)

Did you get the part of "the power that works in us?"" Do we realize the power God has put in us? That power can bring about new things when we partner with Him. That’s exciting my friends! I want to encourage you to take time to listen to the Holy Spirit and hear about the new things He wants to bring forth in your life. Remember He always has good things in store for you! Let the flowers be a bouquet that speaks to your heart of His love and sweet precious presence and care for you and the new things He is bringing forth even today!

In conclusion: Delight yourself in the Lord and taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. (Psalm 37:4; 34:8 KJV)

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your grace and lovingkindness that we can see all around us and experience in the beauty of the Spring season. May we be mindful, awake and responsive to the new beginnings and changes in our lives in this season. Help us to anticipate with joy the hopeof transformation and renewal. And help us ready our hearts to welcomeYyou in to bring it about. Thank You for Your love and divine wisdom in our everyday lives. Help us to welcome Your presence and truth to become all that You have created us to be.

2. Find 3 scriptures that encourage you to have faith in Gods ability to bring about new beginnings and rejuvenation.
3. Write down 3 steps you can take to move forward in agreement with God to bring about the new beginning He is desiring to bring forth.
