I recently was given the book: Jesus the Healer by E. W. Kenyon. In it he gives great explanations and expounds on the scriptures pertaining to healing, our authority in Christ, and all that was accomplished through the finished work Jesus did on the cross.

As I was pondering and meditating on his writings, I took away some powerful truths. Some of which are the following:

• Jesus has purchased everything for our victory over sin, death and the devil. That means everything! Kenyon states: From Romans through Hebrews a complete redemption is taught.
• Jesus stripped the devil of his authority, and Satan has no dominion over us (see Romans 6:14). So, we have been delivered from sin-consciousness because we have been redeemed.
• He has made provisions for us to be new creatures through complete recreation and reconciliation. He gives us an impartation of Gods own nature.
• God has justified or declared us righteous. Kenyon’s definition of righteous is: The ability to stand in the Father's presence without the sense of guilt or sin inferiority. So, we are free from condemnation (see Romoans 8:1).

I believe if we were to fully receive this one revelation that the church would be walking in a much higher place of victory, joy, and authority. I could continue to expand and go into greater detail, however I encourage you to search the scriptures out for yourselves and to hold fast to the reality of the finished work of the cross.

I believe that in this season the Holy Spirit is calling us up to walk and to operate in a whole new revelation of our authority, the authority purchased for us through Christ Jesus. Our healing has already been paid for; the challenge is to BELIEVE in Him! Tetelestai: it is finished! Let’s grab hold of the truth and walk in it. We truly are free!!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the price You paid on the cross; thank You for doing it all so that we could walk with You in freedom and life. Bring us into a greater revelation of Your word and that You are the Living Word that cannot lie. Help us to hold onto our confession of faith: that we are healed, delivered, reconciled, and redeemed. Let us be a people who know You intimately and that possess grateful hearts for all You have done.
